"Twenty years from now you will be more dissappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."

COLOMBIAN ECOSYSTEMS

Colombia is, in relation to its size, the most biodiverse country in the planet. It has 311 recorded ecosystems distributed in six natural regions, namely, the Amazon region, the Orinoco region, the Andean region, the Caribbean region, the Pacific region and the Insular region. It is the first country in the world in numbers of birds (1,900) and orchids, second in plants, butterflies and amphibians, third in reptiles and fourth in mammals. Discovering how these ecosystems work and the role of the different species of animals in them is the focus of this journey.

We will help you develop a sharp eye for observing animal behaviour and learn about the ecological value of plants and their medicinal properties, while travelling through grasslands, jungles, forests, lakes, rivers and seas.

Together we will design a journey that best suits your interests and preferences, whether it is birdwatching, botany, ecology, a combination of them or viceversa.

Our task must be to free ourselves by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and its beauty.
